Industrial Recovery & Recycling, Inc.

Industrial Recovery & Recycling, Inc. (IRR) is a privately owned, state-of-the-art plastic recycling company that was founded, approximately 35 years ago, in 1987. Since that time, IRR’s 200,000 square foot facilities across its 27 acres in Greer, South Carolina, has processed over 1 billion pounds of plastic material for a growing list of blue chip manufacturing companies.

With capacity to process over 60 million pounds of material per year, IRR’s facilities remain both robust and highly versatile, with the abilities to process a wide variety of both polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) waste materials. IRR is one of only a couple independent industrial plastics recycler and reprocessor with this magnitude of capacity and capabilities in the entire state of South Carolina.

Professional and Reliable Services You Can Trust

IRR buys industrial surplus waste polypropylene and PET in various forms, such as non-woven, film, and fiber, for reuse back into the market.

IRR can take various forms of waste (non-woven, film, flake, and filament) and ‘toll’ pelletize it for reuse by the producer. By reusing their own waste, many manufacturers can experience a dramatic decrease in raw materials costs.

Our process reduces or eliminates the volume of ‘off quality’ finished goods in the marketplace and strengthens ‘first quality’ marketability. Our melt filtration capabilities also allow for an extremely high-quality finished product.

our location

IRR is conveniently located a half-mile off of I-85, half-way between Greenville and Spartanburg, SC, and one mile from the Inland Ports Authority.
